Haters recognize!
So haters should recognize that all they do is influence those they hate to succeed in what they need to do in life. We all hate haters, but at the end we love them! In with love out with hate (hate is soo over rated, thank you Julie!) Why, because if it wasn't for the haters we would not push ourselves to be better than them! Definition of a Hater- One that hates what they can't be, or can't do, but all they can do is hate and talk shit!! (our definition). Thank you haters for making those who do not give up reach further and go hard towards their goals! Listen up haters all you are doing is hurting yourselves. You might hurt the egos of those you hate, but since they are fighters and not haters, it will just make them work double time. Thank you to all the haters for making the fighters stronger!!! Peace!

The Crickets' Song
I stepped outside to walk our dogs Mitzi and Sasha and was welcomed with the crickets' song. I didn't notice it right away. At first I just decided to step out onto the lawn and feel the fresh breeze while the dogs went out into the fenced lawn. Then I looked up and was honored with the breath taking view of the stars. I even think I saw the big and little dipper. Right at that moment I heard myself say I wish Vic was out here to see this with me. Then in the distance I heard music. It was soft and soothing. I could hear flutes, guitars, and the vocal sounds of a male singer, but yet then I realized something even more special. All the insects and crickets joined in to compliment the sound of the music. After a while I realized that they were trying to impress the night with the enchanting music of the crickets' song. I put my glass of red wine down on the solid concrete step and took a seat on the lawn chair. To just look up at the stars as I heard the crickets' song. I just took a deep breath and enjoyed for an instance the amazing gift that nature gave us. The Crickets' song.

School!
There you have it folks! The doorway to the future...School, to be specific college, a week or two ago the Idaho State Campus was empty and quiet, and today is full of bright new students jumping from around Idaho and beyond to begin their possibly first college experience. For those that are returning students, welcome back. Most of us have figured out how it works and now its our duty as good upper class men and women to guide the new Freshmen. We think it will be a great year and hopefully full of extremely positive energy. Although, most off us would wish for an extra week of vacation, we know it would be sooner than later when we had to return to the wonderful world of School. Stay focus, have fun, ask for help, and by all means try not to fall down any stairs on your first week of classes. Welcome Back!

One second
In one second we think not a whole lot can change, but that's in human years. How many things can happen in one second around the world, around a country, a neighborhood, or even within a house. Many things can change. How many of us stop for one second just to appreciate those around us and the goals we have accomplished in our lives? How many of us look back and wonder what would have life been like if we had not stopped for one second to meet the person that we are in love with now? Once in a while it is perfectly fine to stop for one second, because that second might alter your life into a whole new chapter of and could possibly be the beginning of something beautiful. The amazing thing about a second is the reality that it is just one second, but very spontaneous and could even be possibly bigger then what we thought. That one second could be all we need to just find exactly what our lives need.

An Incredibly Perfect Morning
Woke up at 5:46am to go to the gym with friends. The walk to the gym was cool, crisp, but nice. Worked out and found out that I can now bench 185! Vic and Deej doing cardio, while Casey and I lifted weights, was pretty awsome! Went back home and got ready to go to work. Got out of the house just in time to go by Coffee Town to get the perfect coffee from Bridget! The sun was out and you could see all the green mountains surrounding us. The best part is that I was sharing this incredibly perfect morning with Victor! As we walked through campus, we came to the spot where we split, and I turned on my Ipod. The song... "Unforgettable", by Nat King Cole & Natalie King Cole. I though of changing the song, but as I looked up and saw the green lawn in the Quad and the sprinklers going I felt this urge to just enjoy the view with this song. As I walked I could smell the wet grass, the early morning dew, and I could feel the mist coming from the sprinklers as i passed by. I just felt everything melt away, and felt the need to just close my eyes. I am thankful for the love I have found with Vic, I am thankful for my health and those I love, I am thankful to have met so many wonderful people, and I am thankful to be able to appreciate such an incredibly perfect morning!

The Rich want their money NOW! The poor get excuses, ands, & buts!
Why is it that the Rich Corporations, big companies, and even people with money and power always get their money without excuses, but those who are poor and in serious need of money get nothing but excuses? What the fuck is up with that? Whether we are college students putting in 18 + credit hours +work + organization involvement, a working single mother, a person working three jobs just to make ends meet, or anyone trying to live life right, it just seems we get a pot full of excuses more then the green stuff that makes people dance. Just alone today we found ourselves in the middle of two conversations discussing on how our University is delayed on distributing change checks out to students! Come on seriously, what the fuck? One student had filled out their information as soon as they got the notice to update their FASFA, and another waited a few months after receiving the e-mail, but both are given excuses on why they yet have to see a change check. What is really interesting is that both excuses do not add-up. One was, "We failed to mail change checks on Saturday, but they will be out first thing Monday morning", another was, "You are being reviewed, and you might not see yours till September," and finally we called, and they said, "They were mailed out on Saturday"! So which is it, because the way I see it this is money students need to get their semester going. Things get funnier because to weeks prior from this date an e-mail had been distributed to faculty, student, and staff that if students did not have their fees paid by Monday, August, 24th, 2009 that they would automatically be dropped from all their classes, and ironically a week later they took the rule back, hmm... we wonder why? It seems that some Universities don't even know what is going on, are giving students the run around, or they are just plain fucking with us and being hard on giving us the funds we applied for earlier this year! Funny is the fact that the University wants their money NOW, but could care less if we can get it or not... This is dedicated to our friends that need their change check to get their semester going.

Have you ever noticed?
So there are many things going on in the life of individuals, but have you ever noticed how people prioritize what is important? I mean for me it could be my relationship and when I need to walk my dogs, but for others it could be something completely silly to us. This semester Vic and I decided to return to our college town a bit early to prepare, work, and help out our dear Linda with her physical health, but I think we got more then what we bargain for when it came to how people do things. It is interesting how people work just like a unexplainable tidal waive when it comes to what should be done. Our Student dance company got hired to dance for the prestigious Idaho National Laboratory's 60th birthday. I personally wondered if it would all come together in time, but I had faith and with the wonderful support of all those who help, it happened and it was a true success! As time got closer to school starting up again, there are preparations being made to welcome the new incoming freshmen and a whole mix of volunteers emerge from there long summer siesta! "I am back in town ready to help what can I do"! seems to be the perfect line to present personal volunteer time. Interesting how within a period of two weeks so many tidal waives of interesting events can occur! I guess what we are trying to say is that priorities are as unique as personalities and that we should accept them for what they are... simple choices of priorities and not expect anything less or more.

When people just will not answer.
Why is it that people give you the amazing impression that they are highly interested in getting involved, but when it comes to actions they are no where to be found. The hilarious part about it is that you know they have a cell phone, Internet, facebook, myspace, e-mail, and all the possible connections to communicate, but they somehow can not simply say they are too busy to be involved! Just be honest! If you lead people to believe that you are available for assistance that is what they will understand was communicated, but just like anything else in life... don't mislead people to believe that you will assist and then just blow them off! If you don't want it done to you then why should you do it to others?
